As an introvert, Second Life is a way for me to socialize without feeling overwhelmed. Thanks to Second Life, I met the love of my life and just over a week ago,

For me, Second Life is a way to escape from a modern world that often feels too harsh and
messy. It gives me a space where I can express myself through landscaping and
decorating, a beautiful way to bring to life a nostalgic world that doesn’t really exist
anymore.
A softer, more beautiful world you only see now in old movies, VHS
tapes, or faded photographs. It also helps me stay connected with friends and meet
people from all over the world. That’s what keeps me coming back.
Second Life is a giant creative toy-box for me, plus I can go around and see what others have put together, chat with them, listen to music, play games and chill out. 🙂
Second Life is my favourite creative playground. It gives me a place to build worlds,

Second life is an escape and a way to explore or experience places and things you might
never get the chance to do in the real world. Want to go to Disneyland? You have
multiple choices! Want to visit another planet or fly a commercial jet? You can. Swim as
a mermaid or be a dragon? Yes.
Add on top of that the chance to meet people from
all over the world with varied backgrounds and lives and it is the perfect sandbox,
playground, meeting hall, and anything else you can imagine.
Second Life has been a home for my creative process for 21 years now, in one way or another. And as a home, I would like people to see it as a place they can experience anything they like, instead of placing labels on it as it has experienced throughout the years.
Started SL as a source for my painting projects, but ended up having lots of good friends
here. Initially, I didn't thought I'd stay in the world for long - it was
something like 'let's give it a try'. And here I am - already 7
years.
From 'just for fun' and 'reality escape' it turned
into a part of my daily life.
